Azimio La Umoja One Kenya senior counsel James Orengo speaks after president Uhuru Kenyatta officiated over the swearing in of the six judges of the court of Appeal, the Lands court and the Environmental court after appointed them into the office last Tuesday evening.
The six judges were rejected by the former president Uhuru Kenyatta who failed to appoint them into office, but while taking the Orth on Tuesday, president William Ruto promised to appoint and confirm them to ofgice immediately after taking the office.
Reacting shortly after the six judges were sworn into the office, Siaya governor James Orengo has congratulates the six judges where he where he said the independent if the judiciary is paramount.
'There was no justification at all to frustrate the appointment of the judges of the court of Appeal, some of the best judicial brains. Kudos to Muchelule, Korir, Ngugi, Makori & Omange. And Maraga was there to witness it all. An independent Judiciary is paramount" he alleges.
