The Eldoret Court was filled with laughter on Tuesday after a man dramatically pleaded with the magistrate to give him a plate of Ugali.
The suspect, Japheth Olindo was accused of assaulting three people in Sugoi according to Citizen Digital.
He told the Magistrate, Kaynes Odhiambo that ever since his arrest, he has not eaten his favourite meal. He told the court that he would collapse due to hunger.

Olindo also left the court with their ribs aching after he pleaded with Magistrate Odhiambo to give him a small cash bail of Ksh 2000 stating that if he stayed in jail for long, his wife would be snached by other men.
Magistrate Odhiambo promised to buy him lunch after listening to his case. He released on a cash bail of Ksh 10,000.
