JUST IN; DP Rigathi Gachagua Allegedly Moves With Speed To Stop Planned Demonstrations Tomorrow in Nairobi

News just in indicates that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has moved with speed to thwart the planned demonstrations by the Nairobi Small Scale Business Community.

The group had written to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua informing him that demonstrations was scheduled to take place tomorrow from 9am. The business community was complaining of Chinese takeover of their businesses through unfair practices.

The notice had detailed that the demonstrations would start from Kamukunji, Nyamakina, Kirinyaga Road, Dubois Road, River Road, Luthuli, Moi Avenue, National Archives and then to Harambee House.

In a quick move to prevent the demonstrations, Deputy President has written to the Business Community while detailing that they had an appointment with the deputy president.

Details reveal that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has agreed to meet with the business community on 1st March 2023 at 10am at Harambee House Annex offices. Only 20 representatives will meet with the deputy president.
