Wajir Town Member Of Parliament, who is also the Former Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale want Government Auditor General to conduct forensic audit on usage of our public money. This is after details emerged that the government and others BBI Proponents appealing the BBI Report at the Appellate Court have all hired expensive advocates. The Garissa Town Member was responding to an article written by Constitutional Lawyer raising questions on the misuse of taxpayers money on a case likely to be lost. Taking to his Twitter handle the former majority leader insist that forensic audit ought to be conducted.
The pronouncement by the vocal Tangatanga Member come at a time when the court of appeal has started listening to the petition filed by BBI promoters challenging the decision made by high court of halting the BBI Report. The High Court said that the whole process was unconstitutional, therefore null and void.
