The two contrived to kill Mwangi, the previous head of Kiru Secondary School, in November 2016.
High Court Judge Joel Ngugi said the indictment demonstrated its argument against the couple past any sensible uncertainty.
"A hardened custodial sentence against the charged is justified," he said while conveying the decision on Thursday, June 3.
Muthoni and Ng'ang'a followed the court procedures for all intents and purposes from their separate correctional facilities at Nairobi's Langata Women and Kamiti Maximum jails.
State Counsel Catherine Mwaniki had contended that the case met the edge to have the two condemned to death.
Nakuru High Court saw the couple as liable of homicide in April this year.
Mwangi had been accounted for missing on November 6, 2016. His ravaged body would, after eight days – on November 14, 2016 – be discovered unloaded in an espresso ranch in Juja, Kiambu County.
His widow, Muthoni, and her co-blamed, Ng'ang'a, were subsequently captured regarding the executing.
The Prosecution presented that Muthoni, the previous head of Icaciri Secondary School in Kiambu, recruited lawbreakers, including Ng'ang'a, to kill Mwangi.
The court, heard that Muthoni designed her significant other's executing after he supposedly started a relationship with another lady, distinguished in court as MWK or M-Pesa Lady.
The arrangement was to dispose of Mwangi's darling and afterward murder him, court was told.
The case has continued for a very long time until Thursday, April 22, 2021, when Muthoni and Ng'ang'a were pronounced blameworthy of homicide.
