The soft-spoken legislator also thanked those who gave sacrificed their comfort to work under the difficult Covid-19 circumstances. Moi has promised to liase with other bodies to enact laws which will better their plight.
This year's Labour day will go down in history as the dull and hopeless one. This is as a result of hard economic times and hopelessness brought about by Covid-19 pandemic. Majority of Kenyans have lost their jobs and they are presently living hand to mouth.
Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) is the constitutional body responsible for handling the plight of Kenyan workers.This year, COTU will be championing the inclusion of digital tax operators and mobile money agents into the wage bracket.
