On July the second Thika road residents witnessed fierce encounter between two law enforcers a lady and a civilian indulge themselves in a gun fight,according to eye witnesses they claimed the three were involved in an argument before a shoot out erupted,despite disappearing before being identified today the man has surrendered himself while being escorted by his lawyer Cliff Ombeta,he has been identified as Dickson Njanja Mararo who is 28 years old residing in Kiambu County,currently he is being grilled by DCI officers to determine what was his motive for accosting to police officers.
Earlier it had been claimed that the two police officers were involved in a shot out amongst themselves but after extensive investigations it was established that their was another shooter,residents of quiver lounge who narrated the incident said the man shot the law enforcers and after committing the crime he comfortably left his scene of crime without being questioned.
According to DCI they are still holding him until tomorrow when he will be presented to the court with his gun that he used to shoot the two police officers,they further claimed that Njanja Mararo had a pistol which had 38 ammunition.
