Senior counsel Dr. Otiende Amollo has once again proved that he's a worthy lawyer after making a powerful presence in the court of appeal today regarding the verdict given by the five High Court Judges on the Building Bridges Initiative months ago.
According to the outspoken Rarieda constituency legislature, the five high Court Judges did not look into the evidence presented by the BBI team that the actual promoters of the initiative were Denis Waweru and Junet Mohammed, not president Uhuru Kenyatta.
The learned lawyer also noted that President Uhuru was only there as a supporter of the initiative and not as a promoter.
"My lords I have failed to understand why the high Court Judges insisted on finding president Uhuru Kenyatta as the promoter of the Building Bridges Initiative against all the evidence presented before them. The evidence clearly shows that the actual promoters of the bill are Denis Waweru and Junet Mohammed. Even if the president was the promoter there is nowhere in the constitution that bars him from initiating the process, "SC Otiende Amollo Said.
