Attorney General Commits The Same Mistake He Was Warned By Havi As He Plans To File An Appeal

AG Kihara Kariuki, Nelson Havi and five judge bench.

It is official that the chief justice Paul Kihara, has withdraw application for stay of the High Court judgement, and is planning to file an appeal at the court of Appeal.

But the Attorney General will still be repeating the mistake that he was warned by the President of the Law Society of Kenya Nelson Havi, who asked him to read the judgement before springing into action.

Nelson Havi had pointed out that one mistake likely to be committed by the BBI proponents, is allowing the Attorney General to file the appeal, as it will justify the judgement.

Part of the judgement by the five members bench, gave the verdict that the document was not a popular initiated one, but was rather influenced by the president.

This will come true when the appeal is filed by the Attorney General, which might be interpreted as coming direct from the president, since he is an appointee of the President.

It is a matter of wait and see, on which way the ruling will go, considering the damage the ruling has caused the proponents.
