Youth and gender affair Cas, Honorable Rachel Shebesh has sent a stern warning to all chiefs in different regions of Kenya who are allegedly entertaining different suspects accused of defiling school girls and minors.
Speaking to a couple of journalists fromm different Kenyan media houses, Honorable Shebesh revealed that she had received alot of negative news concerning defilement cases in different parts of the country.
In her own words, she said that a couple of police officers along with chiefs in the village were always letting defilement suspects free back in the village without charging them over their mistakes.
Due to this reason, she revealed that she Was going to start making rounds with her officers and if they find any chief doing this then he was going to face the law. This is happening at the same time when a couple of women from Makueni took to the streets to demonstrate over the same incident.
According to the reports given by this women, they revealed that some of them along with their children were living in constant fear of being attacked by suspects who they reported after taking advantage of their daughters and so with this, they called upon the police boss to look into what is happening in this regions.
