The office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has come to address the heated discussion of how an EX-KDF officer was chained at their headquarters without a trial.
Through their official Twitter account, they tweeted, "clarification on allegations of such magnitude should have been sought before going to press. DCI calls upon the Nation Media Group to promote ethical standards of Journalism and professionalism and discourage publishing of such unsubstantiated stories in the future."
"Equally, we call upon the Independent Policing Oversight Authority where the matter is alleged to have been reported to expedite their investigations over the allegations".
The 5th President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto had promised Kenyans to deliver justice promptly to the parties involved.
The DCI Director Mr. Amin Mohamed has promised to actualize the manifesto of the Kenya Kwanza Government by ensuring those found guilty are dealt with by the law.
