"Green Light" Court Allows John Mwangemi To Take Office After Court Battle.

John Mwangemi the new Kenya Ports Authority Acting Managing Director has been reinstated to the position after a court ruling on Tuesday differed with the order that has been handed to Kpa barring John from taking office.

This comes barely a week after the initial orders were given to the port. But the Employment and Labor Relations court has come out to claim that the was a variation between the documents present at the court to those issued in the first ruling. This was said by Byram Ongaya.

In regards to this, the judge Biryam has called it an error and dictated that a fresh directive should be immediately be prepared in order for John Mwangemi to take up his duties at the port.

The Kenya Ports Authority has been marred by allegations of bias, corruption and nepotism. These explains as to why the body has no managing director after the resignation of Daniel Manduku early last year.
