Good News to Kianjokama Brothers Family as High Court Declines This Order

A few weeks ago, the Kianjokama Brothers were killed in one of the most brutal of fashions while under the custody of police.

The two brothers had been arrested for violating curfew laws and that is the last time that the inseparable duo would be seen alive.

Six police officers who were arrested had filed a motion to have their prosecution of murder stopped as they claimed to have not killed the brothers.

The six police officers had also filed a motion wanting the bodies of the two brothers exhumed for further examinations into the cause of their death.

Today, the High Court has declined to stop the prosecution of the six police officers who were arrested.

The six Kianjokama police officers will instead take a plea tomorrow at Millimani Law Courts where they had been arraigned last time.

The officers' 10 lawyers quit yesterday and they had asked the court to stop their plea taking until they find new lawyers.

It remains to be seen if justice will be served for the two Kianjokama Brothers who died under horrible circumstances.
