"Don't Rush Us" Lawyer Khaminwa Lecturer CJ Koome Over Presentation Time Limit at BBI Appeal Hearing

Celebrated Lawyer Joh Khaminwa on Tuesday morning lectured Chief Justice Martha Koome over presenntation timeline on the ongoing hearing on the appeal case on the Building Bridges Initiative.

Khaminwa told CJ Koome clearly that they had enough time and it meant them sitting for months they had no problem even if it meant them sitting for months they were okay.

According to Khaminwa, the case before the supreme court was a sensitive case hence it should not be hurried.

We have a unique case of national and international dimension. What is the hurry for? Where are we going? Khaminwa posed.

Khaminwa requested the bench members to sit and listen to the presentations without aving hurry and they should not treat the case as if it was a case of debt collection.

Khaminwa's sentiments came in after CJ Koome allegedly giving Attorney General 15 minutes to make his presentation.

Ahead of the hearing,  Supreme Court issued new directions that locked out friends of the court and some activists supporting the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) appeal case from giving submissions to the courts.
