It was a sad day for James (not his real name), a 21-year-old man in Nakuru County after a court in the place sentenced him to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of forcing his stepdaughter aged 6 years old in bed, removed her clothes them forcefully slept with her.
The Nakuru man is said to have done the heinous act on 16th December 2020 when he forced the minor into the bedroom at their Blue Max village located around the Salgaa area in Nakuru County. The man was busy doing the act to the minor and his act raised suspicion among the minor's parents.
Upon being asked what transpired, the girl confessed that the man knowingly slept with her without her consent, medical reports also indicate that the minor had been defiled by a man. Following the incident, the man was sentenced to life imprisonment by Magistrate Emmanuel Soita at Molo law courts.
After the sentencing was made, the court ordered officers to lock him up in Nakuru GK Prison, however, he has been given 14 days to appeal the ruling against him.
