Chief Justice Martha Koome Promises This During The 2nd Tribunals Symposium Held In Mombasa

Today, the Kenyan Chief Justice Martha Koome presided over the opening of the 2nd Tribunals Symposium in Mombasa. It's theme this year is to deliver an efficient and innovative tribunals for satisfaction of everyone. She was also joined by DCJ Philomena , CRJ Anne Amadi among other Judiciary Leadership Management.

From her speech, Koome has said that cases needs the right solutions that will help them getting solved quickly. She has therefore urged every court to strive and be a centre of excellence in delivery of resilient justices. She said, "When everybody becomes an agent for justice, this country will start looking for indigenous solutions that leads to peace and reconciliations."

However, she has assured all that her vision is to ensure that no case should stay in a trial court beyond 3 years and appellate court beyond one year during her tenure.
