City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has ignited an online debate following his remarks on how the Mt Kenya region has a for long time been traded by selfish leaders at their own pleasure.
Taking to the social media, the lawyer alleged that the region has been easily gullible fore quite some years. He claimed it all started with being pushed into turning against the Luo community and later on Raila Odinga for no reason, adding that President Uhuru has become the newest victim.
His remarks ignited an online debate with some agreeing while others disagreed. Majority of those against his remarks claimed that he must be hurt so much by the recent humiliation of the handshake team in Kiambaa.
"Did Kiambaa hurt you this much?" Posed James.
Another group claimed that the Kikuyu community has broken the chains of tribal politics and are now ready to move out of the captivity of voting for "their own".
A small section however concurred with him claiming that indeed the Central Region has for a long time fallen prey of tribalistic and individualistic leaders.
