High Court Directs Uhuru To Appoint The 6 Judges, Warns What Will Be Done After Two Weeks

Huduma Namba suffered The Same Fate and Govt has appealed the Decision. Today The High Court Delivered judgement in the row of appointment of Judges after President Uhuru Kenyatta omitted six judges from a list of 40 individuals

Court has Directed the Head of state to appoint the remaining six judges within 14 days, failure to which the judges will be deemed duly appointed. This another Blow to Uhuru in respect to laws of the land.

Today The Committee on the Formulation of the Remuneration Order for the Small Claims Court led by Justice Alfred Mabeya, Presiding Judge Commercial and Tax Division held a stakeholder validation forum on the Proposed Remuneration Order.

The workshop brought together stakeholders from Judiciary, CUC, Law Society of Kenya (LSK), banking and insurance sectors to deliberate on the proposed Order that once gazetted by Chief Justice Martha Koome, will spell out costs in matters filed at the Small Claims Court.
