Adeola Babatunde has been nabbed after being identified to be a fake Lawyer for 10 years. It's said that he has been defending his clients in different courts and has been winning cases under him against senior lawyers which is unusual. He was arrested by police after a judge noticed something unusual during the trial.
According to K24 digital news media platform, the suspect identified as Adeola had been practicing without legitimate qualifications and even won complicated cases and in the process earned more clients who unknowingly sought his services. The police who arrested him indicated that he will be charged with forgery, impersonation and soliciting money by false pretense from members of the public.
Qualified lawyers have requested new cases and trials The fake Lawyer won to be reopened terming them as mistrials and a travesty to justice.
