Boda boda operators have been subjected to grisly road accidents caused by rogue drivers on major roads.

A boda boda operator has been involved in a hit and run accident caused by a police Landcruiser in Kianjokoma, Embu County.
According to reliable reports, other boda boda operators have come together to protest over the incident as the police Landcruiser was driven off faster from the scene without assisting the injured rider.

When the operators went to report the incident to the police station, they were chased away which has made them take to the street to protest.

According to area residents the police vehicle hit a boda boda rider at Kianjokoma market before fleeing away. The riders who went to report the incident at Kianjokoma police station were chased away by the officers." The reports stated.
