No Escape for Tirop's Killer Husband, Vincent as Court Issues Fresh Directives

Agnes Tirop's husband, Vincent Tirop who is suspected of stabbing and killing his wife Agnes Tirop will stay behind bars for the next three months. This is after an Eldoret court on December 15,2021 postponed the the hearing of the bail/bond request to 9th March next year. This is because of the absence lead judge assigned to the case, Justice Reuben Nyakundi.

The court will also set the date for the hearing of the main case on March 9. The court also tapped on the probation team to work on the prepail report to help in determining whether Ibrahim should be released on bond or not.

The court has also granted Agnes Tirop's family custody of her prime plots and other properties pending hearing of the cae. Agnes Tirop's father Mrs. Vincent Tirop has been appointed the interim administrator of his daughter's plots and other properties.

Ibrahim Rotich had transferred the late Tirop's properties to his name before killing her. The legendary marathoner, Rotich was found in her house dead, Rotich was on the loose.
