Jowie Irungu has been restrained from entering Nairobi city until his pending murder case is over.
According to the judge, The decision was made after the prosecution disclosed that his (Jowie) charges took place in Nairobi, therefore liable of interrupting if allowed in the city.
“I hereby issue a warning against the respondent to abide by the orders issued by justice Wakianga in respect to the area of domicile. He is required to work within the domicile area (Nakuru),” ruled justice Cecilia Githua.
The judge ordered Jowie to be reporting to the village chief (Nakuru) where the chief will submit a monthly report about him to the court's deputy registrar.
The court however rejected an application to cancel Jowie's bail through allegations that he attacked a man at a Nairobi club.
Jowie and his ex-girlfriend Jacque Maribe are out on bail, facing murder charges after allegedly killing a businesswoman three years ago.
