David Makali a veteran journalist has joined those who are asking Wambua to resign through a tweet posted on his social media page.
"Mercy Wambua has overstayed her time at LSK ,She should step aside and move on if she has nothing to hide" stated Makali on his Twitter page.
Some Kenyans on Twitter agreed with Makali's sentiments claiming that the CEO is a corrupt person.
This comes just a few days after the president of the LSK Nelson Havi accused Wambua of mismanagement and embezzlement of public funds from the legal body.
It is not yet clear whether Wambua who has served as CEO for the law society of Kenya for a good number of years will table her resignation following the onslaught.
We will keep on following this story incase of a response from the CEO's office for more updates, stay tuned.
