The court is currently under extreme pressure to finish the hearing of the case following Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi over Fake academic papers. This happens as the court is planning to push covering all the remaining 6 witnesses in just 6 days. Is at Sudi's case has been stalled since 2016 over allegations that he presented fake academic papers to the IEBC to be cleared.
However, Oscar Sudi came with new claims that his lawyer will not be available since he had been granted a three day relief by the doctor. This was meant to enable him have a body rest following his underlying health conditions. The court later resolved that it would be so unfair to hear the case without Oscar Sudi's lawyer.
It was alleged that Oscar Sudi forged a fake certificate in Diploma and another Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. He also forged a school leaving certificate to seek IEBC clearance. This happens as details reveal that their was an attempt to stop the prosecution by filing a suit at high court which was dismissed.
