
Veteran Lawyer Danstan Omari, has now issued a tough warning after an attempt was made to forcefully take blood samples from the disbanded Special Service Unit (SSU) officers.
In a statement via People Daily, dramatic scenes was witnessed yesterday after the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) detectives, attempted to forcibly take DNA samples from the officers at gun point.
The accused' lawyer, Danstan Omari, who was at that time attending to a petition filed by Pangani-Based officer Ahmed Rashid, was forced to cut shorts his submissions and rush to the scene in a bid to defend his clients.
"I have firmly instructed my clients not to accept for the samples to be taken from them under circumstances that are contrary to the court ruling," said Omari.

The detained officers, were accused of being behind the disappearance of two Indian Nationals Zulfiqar Ahmad Khan and Mohammed Zaid Sami Kidwai together with their taxi driver Nicodemus Mwania.
