Appearing on Citizen television, revered city lawyer and political analyst Steve Ogolla has revealed why Uhuru and Raila should embrace themselves for tough times following the court of appeal decision to have the determination of the BBI appeal scheduled towards the end of July which is the month that the BBI crusaders were optimistic that the referendum will be held.
According to Ogolla, the hopes of having a referendum before the next general elections are close to impossible because of the legal challenges and court battles that are expected in the coming days going by the recent pronunciations by the courts.
He advises that the two leaders look for another way of popularizing the document which might include the use of the two houses to have them embrace the document and pass it. So far the cases are expected to be heard towards the end of June and early July. Kindly follow the writer for more updates.
