The minister of Education CS Magoha has declared that he is ready to face the court about the issue of competency based curriculum (CBC) after one of the lawyers filed the case recently. He claimed that the students should be given a chance to show their skill and talents in various fields and he cannot allow people to stop it. He declared that the CBC start a long time before even he was elected as the minister of education and he will not allow leaders to confuse millions of children who have already enrolled on the CBC education.
He refuted claims that CBC did not follow the right procedure and revealed that several children are enjoying the learning and they are not even ready to go back with 8-4-4 education. He declared that the government is making efforts to establish new institutions that will be used but the children who complete grade 6 next year.
