For years now, Kenyans have been waiting in vain for the prosecution of Former Finance Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich who is accused of Looting billions through the Arror and Kimwarer Dams Project.
The case Was set to be mentioned on Monday but the court was forced to adjourn after Rotich's case file disappeared in mysterious circumstances a few hours before the session began.
The court instructed the registrar to find the case before the session resumes in the afternoon. However, the case was still missing by the time the parties had reconvened in court.
The Judge ordered both parties to avail themselves once they received the communication that the file has been found. The incident happened days after Director of Public Prosecution Nordin Haji requested that the matter is transferred to the chief justice so she can form an independent seven judgment bench to determine the matter.
