Chief Justice Martha Koome took her oath of office administered by President Kenyatta on Friday afternoon.
Murkomen wised the incoming CJ God’s grace and success in her endeavors. Murkomen reiterated that he expects the new Chief Justice will administer justice for all Kenyans regardless of their power, age, economic status, and stature in society.
In a tweet on Friday, Murkomen said, “congratulations to the 15th CJ and Supreme Court President Martha Koome as she takes charge of our Judiciary. I wish her God’s grace and every success. I expect nothing from her but JUSTICE to ALL. The mighty and puny; the powerful and the weak; the old and the young; the wealthy and hustlers alike.”
CJ Martha Koome is expected to face handle the BBI appeal cases that will soon reach the supreme court after 23 orders stopping it issued by the High Court.
