The former Icaciri Girls Secondary School Principal will on June 3 next month know her fate after she was found guilty of killing Mr. Mwangi back in 2016.
The submissions presented before the High Court on Tuesday by the prosecution side seek to have the defendant and her co-accused Issac Njoroge face maximum sentences over the murder.
Judge Joel Ngugi will be the one determining the fate of the two, even after Muthoni urging the courts to be lenient on her citing that the family had gone through a traumatic experience.
The late Solomon Mwangi, a former Principal of Kiru Boys High school, was found killed five days after he was reported missing and his lifeless body dumped at a coffee estate in Karakuta, Muranga County on November 11, 2016.
