The ICC Court is an International Court mandated with the responsibilities of investigating and trying individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community: genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and the crime of aggression.

The Court is participating in a global fight to end impunity, and through international criminal justice, the Court aims to hold those responsible accountable for their crimes and to help prevent these crimes from happening again.

Kenya came to limelight after the ICC started to investigate and charged members who were allegedly liable for causing political unrest in the 2007/8 post election violence.

Among the six suspects allied to "Ocampo six" were Uhuru Kenyatta for PNU, William Ruto ODM and Media personality Joshua Sang who were later relieved from the Case.

However, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has Announced more bad news for Deputy President William Ruto.

For the first time, Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has been named as being involved in coordination of witness interference that corrupted his case at the International Criminal Court at the Hague.

The Second in Command risks being charged with corruptly influencing a witness, an offence punishable by five years in jail. This is indeed more trouble for Ruto as he risks being charged and jailed by ICC for a period of not less that five years.
