"Kama Raila Anataka Maandamano Aende Peke Yake" Luo Nyanza Leaders Warn Raila About Protests.
Former leaders in Luo Nyanza have condemned Azimio leader Raila Odinga's call for mass action demonstrations about the state of the nation and President Ruto's dismissal of the four IEBC commissioners.
Former legislator Eric Omondi, former Kisumu senator Fred Outa and former governor Okoth Obando have stated that they strongly oppose the ODM and Azimio leader Raila's calls for protests. They claim that there are numerous solutions to the country's emerging issues and simmering facts that are causing protests in the streets.
This was stated by the leaders at Good Choir Village in Suna West sub-county during the distribution of food to residents. Demonstrations according to the leaders only result in loss due to destruction.
They have urged Raila to go to the demonstrations alone if he wishes to do so. The people of Nyanza have been asked to refrain from organizing protests. They should stay and allow them to accompany their children and families.
