Activist Mwangi Claims That Dr Alfred Mutua Was the One Who Brought Down His House Yesterday Night

Dr Mutunga has reported that a known activist Boniface Mwangi called him on Wednesday night sobbing terribly even unable to utter audible words.

According to him, both Boniface Mwangi and his family were in tears after learning of what had happened to their house under construction in Machakos county.

The former chief justice has expressed great frustration, questioning whether families of those who fight for freedom and human rights of others will live without harmony and for how long would they continue suffering, Why would someone want to destroy someone's property in the name of politics?

He has included the government saying that if the government cannot protect the sovereignty and security of Kenyans then the country and state is living under an illegitimate government.

"@bonifacemwangi is my comrade-friend-son. He called me last night. He was wailing. So was his family. So, now our families are not safe. They’ve never been. A state that cannot guarantee the safety of both our lives and property is illegitimate..."Willy Mutunga.

His concerns come hours after Boniface Mwangi claimed that his house had been brought down by some of his opponents claiming that it was Machakos county Governor Dr Alfred Mutua.

Mwangi now wants police to investigate the incident and arrest those behind the same. “I have names of the people I suspect did this because it is so hurting and I don’t know what to do,” he told the Star.
