
Among the four IEBC commissioners who were suspended by the president last week. The first commissioners, Justice Nyang'aya resigned immediately when the president made announcement of suspension.
Today on Monday 5 December, year 2022 the vice chair person of I EBC commissioner Julian Cherena has resigned.
According to Juliana Cherena's statement, secret is emerging that all the works that were done by the Chairperson were not trustworthy. And so, that's why he went a side with the Chairperson Wafula Chebukati. Of which made some people to misjudged her of being the rebel.
“However, my cumulative actions done sincerely are unfortunately misjudged and misinterpreted. After careful consideration of the current events at the commission and with consultation with my family and lawyers, I accept that my stay at the commission is no longer tenable, and therefore I choose to vacate”. Julian Cherena stated.
“She went a head and congratulates the President Dr. William Samoei Ruto for the opportunity he accorded to her to serve the republic. God bless.”
