President Uhuru Kenyatta's government battles with court has continued today after the appointment of Ambassador John Mwangemi as the acting managing director of the Kenya ports authority has been suspended.
The Board of Directors of Kenya Ports Authority had early last week announced the appointment by the Government of Amb. John mwangemi as the new Acting Managing Director, the appointment took effect on 1st July 2021.
However, according to reports by local dailies, Mwangemi's appointment has been suspended pending hearing of case filed by lobby group challenging the entire recruitment process.

However, the board went ahead to conduct the process of filling the vacancy left after Manduku resigned.
