Moi's Grandson Sued for Neglecting His Kids

The grandson of the late president Daniel Arap Moi, Collins Toroitich has been indicted for allegedly relinquishing his parenting responsibilities.

His legal adviser, David Mongeri, wants the court to urge Toroitich to pay him KSh 1 million a month to provide food, rent, teaching, and entertainment.

From then on, he made sure that he was trying to feed the children as he did not have a steady income.

In another related story, Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali was right there again after a woman moved to court seeking KSh 200,000 monthly maintenance for youth support.

The woman, Caroline Mutheu Mwakodi, was seeking a court order to force Shinner to pay the child monthly maintenance for a five-year-old child.

KSh 200,000 includes KSh 50,000 on rent, clinic cover covers KSh 35,000 per month, housing support KSh 15,000, food KSh 35,000, clothing KSh 40,000, and changing KSh 35,000 per month.

She also asked the court to provide other assistance that it deems appropriate for the child's success.
