"He Was Wailing" Willy Mutunga Accounts For Events That Transpired During Boniface Mwangi Tradgedy

Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has accounted for the events that took place last night when Activist Boniface Mwangi house was set on fire.

Bonface Mwangi took to his social media handle and revealed that a group of people had bombed his familly home.

"4 years ago they shot me. Yesterday they bombed my family home. Everything l do and say is protected by the constitution. They can take away my everything but l will never stop speaking truth to power. I need your solidarity, demand answers from @IG_NPS @DCI_Kenya @FredMatiangi", Bonface Mwangi stated.

Willy has stated that Boniface Mwangi called him that night while crying. Willy Mutunga added that the State has failed in guaranting safety of both property and lives.

"@bonifacemwangi is my comrade-friend-son. He called me last night. He was wailing. So was his family. So, now our families are not safe. They’ve never been. A state that cannot guarantee the safety of both our lives and property is illegitimate", Willy Mutunga stated.
