Raila Odinga called for Countrywide demonstration but the demonstrations are largely happening in Kisumu Town. Nairobi has experienced calm for the better part of the day clearly confirming that Kenyans are not ready for demonstrations rather peaceful so-existence.
Raila Odinga has remained candid and clear that all Kenyans including those from the Mt Kenya region must join him in demonstrations. President Ruto has however made a commitment that Kenya will forever remain peaceful despite threats and intimidation.
Seemingly, Raila's attempts to call for mass action has flopped badly because Kenyans have continued to maintain peace. Raila Odinga has remained candid and clear that he won the August 9th polls and he must be allowed to occupy Statehouse.
