Gov Kawira Mwangaza's Promise To Meru Residents After High Court Stopped Her Impeachment Process

Meru county governor honourable Kawira Mwangaza has found a reprieve after High Court stopped the impeachment motion against her. For that reason, she took to Facebook to give a promise to the residents of her county. That as the people's Governor, she wants to retaliate that her government will be transparent and transformative and she will work with development-oriented leaders in ensuring Meru is happy. She said that as she engaged with residents of Athiru Gaiti in deliberating the effective utilization of their ksh 10M Ward-based community project fund. Athiru gaiti residents will see ksh 3M channeled towards road grading, Ksh 4M towards Bursaries and the construction of a ECDE class. To the youth and Environmental conservation, we have set aside Ksh 0.5M to reforest the hills. Through the Health sector, we will ensure a maternity ward and lab are constructed in the ward(Ksh 2.5)

Additionally, to bolster the Athiru Gaiti Boda boda Sacco, she has issued 9 brand new Motorbikes to 9 different youth groups. These will help the sacco increase its income and savings. She assured residents that we will account for each of their shillings as we devolve development to the village level.
