This follows the court's Tuesday ruling where they gave the DPP the authority to amend the charge sheet in a sh 256 million fraud case that he is facing.

During the court proceedings on Tuesday, the magistrate allowed the State to use new evidence that had been obtained from Obado's home and the county offices. The DPP was allowed to adduce over 500 new pieces of documentary evidence.

Obado and his four children Dan Achola, Scarlet Susan, Jerry Zachary and Evelyne Odhiambo are said to have been part of the conspiracy to siphon public funds from the county government through indirect payments to their accounts.
