A police officer who is reported to have murdered his girlfriend by throwing her off the bulcony has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to the reports given by the director of criminal investigations who arrested the suspect after the death of the victim, they claimed that the suspect denied pushing the deceased who died after falling from the 4th floor of the building.
In what might be considered as a new turn of events in the case, the family of the deceased has refuted claims that the two were dating. Reports given by one of the family members of the deceased who opted to remain anonymous revealed that the two were not dating as it had been reported earlier on.
In an incident which happened several days ago, the deceased was found dead in one of the Estates within Nairobi. According to the reports given by the witnesses, they claimed that the deceased who has been identified as Muthoni died after being pushed by the suspect.
The Body of the deceased was later taken to the mortuary by police officers who responded to the incident after being alerted by one of the locals.
While reacting to this incident, Investigative Police officers have revealed that they are currently waiting for the Postmortum results of the deceased who is currently in the mortuary while at the same time conducting an investigation.
