Patrick Nyapara is a Administration police officer arrested for killing his lover with a gun shot as it was alleged by the High Court during judgment of his case on February 23, 2023.
Justice William Musyoka informed that Nyapara failed to register the firearm before he took and went in the house of the victim and killed her which means he had already the plan to kill her.
He continued to say that it is very important to note that he shot her in the head which means he had a clear intent to cause death to his lover because if it wasn't the case he couldn't shot her in the head which can cause immediately death.
The victim’s lawyer Grace Mburu said that as the accused didn't respect the law till he took the life of a person. Not only that but he left the child traumatised for what he has done for the mother, then the court accuses Nyapara life imprisonment for breaching the trust of the deceased and their child as their protector.
