Kenyans Eagerly Waiting For the Big Rulling Today at 3:00pm From ICC.

In August 2014 our neighboring country Somalia's foreign affairs filed a case in the international court of justice over maritime border dispute.

Somalia filed a case over 250,000 kilometers squares Kenya maritime area that was determined in 1979 using the parallel longitude.

The main point of conflict between the two countries is the nature of the line of the Maritime boundary.

The Somaliland which lies exactly north east of Kenya wants the boarder line to extend along the line of the land boarder in a south east direction while Kenya wants the boarder to head to the sea in a straight line.

However Kenya withdrew and rejected the jurisdiction of the international court of justice one week to the rulling.

"The delivery of the judgement will be the culmination of the flawed judicial process that Kenya has had reservation with and withdrawn from." Foreign ministry said.

The stretch in the Indian ocean is believed to hold large deposits of oil and gases.

Kenyans are eagerly waiting for the rulling from the international court of justice that will be delivered today starting from 3:00 pm (east African time.)

Kenya has strongly blamed Somalia for filling the case in the international court of justice instead of going for peaceful arbitration methods or file the case in east Africa court of justice.
