A day ago, President William Samoei Ruto approved the 20 names of judges that were presented to him by the Judicial Service Commission. According to Stephen Mutoro on his official Twitter account, the 20 judges are preparing for the swearing-in today before His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto. Here is a picture of some of them getting ready for the event.
Among those judges appointed include, Gichohi Patricia Njeri, Mongare Josephine Wayua Wambua, Nyaundi Patricia Mande, Kavedza Diana Rachel, Chirchir Sophie Chebet, and Sifuna Nixon Wanyama, Shariff Mwanaisha Saida, Nyaga Heston Mbogo, Chigiti John Mugwimi, Mulwa Peter Mutua, Nthiga Lawrence Mugambi, Mutai Gregory, and Wananda John Robert Anuro.
In my view, this is a great milestone for the enhanced delivery of justice to Kenyans. Again it means that the congestion of cases in courts won't be there or will reduce.
