
Martha K Koome is a Kenyan accomplished advocate of the High Court from Meru in the vote rich Mt Kenya Region. She made history when she was appointed to become the first ever female Chief Justice in Kenya succeeding the retired incumbent Chief Justice David Maraga. CJ Martha Koome lost her cool and fired stern warning to judicial officers leaving Kenyans talking. According to KBC Channel One Kenya, Koome urged all Judiciary staff to work towards protecting the image of the Judiciary in efforts to achieve excellent service delivery adding that the newly revised Code of Conduct and Ethics will comprehensively guide the behavior and conduct of judges, judicial officers and judiciary staff.
