While appearing on Ghetto Radio on Thursday morning and hosted by Majimaji, Shebesh disclosed that to avoid the vigorous assault case in courts, Dr. Kidero called and decided to settle the matter out to court.
“Kidero paid me a lot of money, I’m sure he wouldn’t repeat such an offense…to slap a woman in this Country, nowadays, there is a precedence. I’m not sure people have such an amount of money. He paid me close to Ksh30 million,” she bragged.
She bragged that after holding Kidero to account, since then, women in leadership have been accorded their respect.
“If I hadn’t been tough, every woman elected into office would have faced such challenges,” she added.
She however went on to warn men against taking advantage of the weak sex by fighting women during an argument.
“Kidero, you have slapped me? You have slapped me Kidero? You have slapped me?” Shebesh was heard shouting in a video that went viral.
In Septembers 2013, Shebesh stormed Kidero’s offices at City Hall over county employees strike which had brought activities in Nairobi to a stop. Many of them had not been paid salaries and allowances.
