Kimani Ichungwa has claimed that Raila Odinga if he want a demonstration, he should use his family members. He asserted that Raila's children should be at the forefront of those rallies. Ichungwa said this claiming that Kenyans are busy looking for Hustler Fund.
However, this comes after Raila Odinga called for demonstrations in solidarity with the four suspended IEBC commissioners. Raila Odinga threatened to take to the streets to protest the way William Ruto is running Kenya.
Following Raila's move, a section of Luo leaders have disputed Raila Odinga's advocacy for demonstration to save Cherera and her colleagues. Suba South MP Caroli Omondi said demonstrations were not the way to go, adding that the country needs an opposition that will check the executive in a more sober way. Omondi said Raila should copy how Americans and people of the United Kingdom go about their politics. He said when it's time for development both the government and opposition join hands and they develop their countries.
