Former CS Henry Rotich Suffers Major Blow As High Court Rules Against His Prayer

The former CS Henry Rotich had faced tough times in his bid to stop prosecution against the Arror dam. The CS has been at the center of the case with all his efforts to escape the wrath of the law falling on deaf ears for he seems sidelined and on his own, to carry his cross and die with it.

Here is a link:

Henry Rotich moved to court to stop his case on Arror dam, a case that involved money to the tune of 55 billion. The matter has hit a crescendo for the High Court today declined to issue orders against prosecution of Former CS Henry Rotich making it clear there was no ill will on the part of prosecution.

Henry Rotich has been out of public limelight since he was ousted out of office over massive corruption in his office. It's clear he is now on his own and he faces huge challenges of being jailed finally given the scandal involved a huge sum of money.

Interestingly, despite the case going on, the deputy President William Ruto has been clear CS Henry Rotich was innocent. He has refused to admit money was lost in Arror and Kimwarrer Dam always defending CS Henry Rotich. Going into the August 9th polls however, it's a matter of wait and see for the money might have been used in recent political events or as donations to churches.
