Top Kenyan Young Lawyers Who Rose To Fame During The Supreme Court Hearings This Year

1. Julie Soweto

Soweto studied his undergraduate degree in Law at University of Nairobi before proceeding to University of Pretoria for her Masters in Law. Raila chose her to represent him in the 2022 presidential petition in the Supreme Court of Kenya. In 2017 she had presented Njonjo Mue and Khelef Khalifa in the petition on pertaining the repeat elections.

2. Mahat Somane

Mahat graduated from the University of Nairobi school of law in the year 2005 and join a post diploma where he graduated in 2007. The nonsense lawyer then enrolled for a masters degree in the in Public Policy at Havard Kennedy School.

In the 2022 presidential petition he represented the IEBC which was accused by the Azimio brigade for mismanaging the elections.

3. Willis Otieno

Otieno studied his undergraduate degree in Lawbat Moi University and afterwards enrolled in a post diploma course in Law at Kenya School of Law. Je went ahead and pursued a masters degree in Law at the University of Nairobi.

He represented Raila Odinga in the 2022 presidential petition at the Supreme Court. He He came with comparison which brought happiness to those who were watching the petition. The most notorious being the Piky Piky Ponky song and doing a comparison of politics with the work of plumbers.

4. Esther Ang'awa

She was an anti BBI lawyer who ensured that it failed terribly. She studied her undergraduate and masters programmes in Law at the University of Nairobi.
