Apart From Koome, These are Other Women Who Occupy High Positions In JSC

If Martha Koome who is currently nominated by the JSC becomes the next chief justice, the judiciary will be run by women. The acting CJ right now is Philomena Mwilu. The incoming one is expected to be Martha Koome.

Other top seats in the judiciary are also ran by women. The vice chair of the JSC is Olive. The Principal Judge at the high court is Lydia Ochode. These are some of the top seats in judiciary.Chief Justice registrar and supreme Court registrar are women also.

This shows that the issue of gender inequality is being done away with since such positions used to be occupied by men mostly.Koome has proved that with determination and hard work, your gender cannot limit you to achieve anything. In the recent past we have seen ladies soar to hight seats. We have the US vice president Kamala and the president of Tanzania Suluhu are a great example. We say congratulations to our very own women who occupy these seats at the JSC.
